There is a field under each course to allow for the input of course costs and contributions/ uniform required or stationary, which you have the option of filling out. This field name is customisable. If there are notes under this field, it will now show to a student once they have logged in and selected the course, under "My Courses". You do have to enable this in the settings however for it to be viewable:

Settings => Course Selection => "Show Course Costs on the Student Selection Summary Page"

Note: This area requires a separate permission to be able to add or edit course costs.
